Where: McKinney Towne Lake recreation center, 2001 S. Central Xpwy,
On East side of Northbound access road, between El Dorado and Virginia.

When: Monday nights.
Beginners thru Orange Belts at 6:00-7:00 pm.
Green Belts and up at 7:00-8:00 pm.
Cost is $60.00 for each month. Months with holiday Mondays are pro-rated. You may pay at the Towne Lake center or online.
No uniform is required until the student tests for their first belt (yellow), although they may certainly get a uniform sooner if they like.
No special signup is required. We run classes all year long. If you have other sports that's fine. We have several students who
disappear for baseball/cheerleading/whatever season, and come back when it's over.
Ages: I recommend 7 and up. There have been a few kids who were 6 and could handle it. Parents are welcome to take the class with their child.
The class is largely kids/teens but parents do take it.
There is no age "too old". If you are 106 and want to start now then you have a great attitude! Our oldest student so far was 85!
Schedule: Every Monday night except for "Monday Holidays" ---MLK, Memorial Day, (July 4, if Monday), Labor Day--- when the Towne Lake Center is closed. They are OPEN Presidents' Day, and every other Monday holiday not listed above. We have class every Monday they are open, with some exceptions around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Those exceptions are announced in the weeks prior.
Private Lessons are available.
Students preparing for a belt exam or tournament--or just wanting some extra
practice time--often ask about these.
